Serving the Underserved: Freedom's Mission Freedom has dedicated itself to serving and empowering individuals who have traditionally been overlooked in the South Bronx. Our ultimate goal is to create sustainable social change and be the unwavering source of strength until they can stand tall on their own. II. Aiding the Elderly: Fostering Care and Belonging Within the South Bronx community, Freedom strives to support and uplift the elderly. By offering them the care they deserve, we aim to provide a sense of belonging and improve their quality of life. III. Empowering Youth at Risk: Shaping Futures Recognizing the immense potential within every young individual, Freedom focuses on empowering and guiding the youth at risk. Through mentorship, education, and providing opportunities, we aspire to shape their futures and lead them towards success. IV. Supporting Substance Abusers: Breaking the Chains Breaking free from addiction is not an easy journey. Freedom stands alongside those battling substance abuse, providing support, resources, and a helping hand. Together, we strive towards rehabilitation and a brighter tomorrow. V. Combating Domestic Violence: A Safe Haven For victims of domestic violence, Freedom acts as a safe haven. Our dedicated team offers support, shelter, and resources to help survivors rebuild their lives and move towards a future free from abuse. VI. Nurturing Those with HIV/AIDS: Fighting Stigma Freedom is committed to providing care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. By fighting against the stigma surrounding this illness, we strive to promote acceptance, understanding, and access to the necessary healthcare and resources. VII. Assisting Families in Transition: Relocation and Renewal When families transition from homeless shelters, Freedom provides essential support. Through organizing tenant associations and offering guidance, we aim to assist them in finding a new home and establishing a sense of stability. Together, with a steadfast dedication to service and empowerment, Freedom endeavors to create lasting social change in the lives of those traditionally underserved in the South Bronx.
