Waiting Lists: Many low-income apartments have waiting lists, and in some cases, it may take several years before you are contacted for available openings. To increase your chances, we recommend applying to as many waiting lists as possible. 2. Contacting the Apartments: We provide direct phone numbers and websites for each apartment. If you are interested in a particular apartment complex, we encourage you to call them directly to inquire about any current openings or open waiting lists. 3. Apartment Rates: On our listing pages, you will find the current rates for many apartments. Please note that most HUD listings do not have published rates. Instead, the monthly rent is calculated based on 30% of the renters' adjustable gross income. To determine if you qualify for income-based rent, please contact the respective apartments. By organizing the information under these headings, we hope to provide clarity and assist you in finding the most suitable apartment option.
