Important Information for Housing Assistance: Waiting Lists: It is important to note that most low-income apartments have waiting lists, sometimes extending over several years, before openings become available. To increase your chances, we recommend applying to multiple waiting lists. Direct Contact: To inquire about apartment openings or open waiting lists, we provide the direct phone numbers and websites of the respective apartments. It is recommended that you reach out to them directly. Apartment Rates: For your convenience, we offer current apartment rates on many listing pages. However, please note that most HUD listings do not have published rates. These rates are typically calculated based on 30% of the renter's adjustable gross income. To determine if you qualify for income-based rent, we suggest contacting the apartments directly. Through the collaborative efforts of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County and our community, we strive to create a supportive environment that uplifts individuals and families in need. Join us in our mission to build a more just and inclusive society.
